JA Happ=the Chef Boyardee of baseball. Looks like spaghetti with lots of meatballs. Looks like being the key words. That stuff does NOT taste like spaghetti. Nor does what Happ is doing doesn’t look like pitching...

It is a good point that I should shut up about Cashman's approach to trades.

This A’s announcing crew is a trip. They just mentioned that Urshela has done well catching and throwing the ball but hasn’t had the offensive production of Andujar.

I like all the commentary. Then again I like anchovies on pizza.

Maybe there will be a tsunami and the game will be postponed until Severino can pitch.

Name another AL team that's better against teams with winning records than the Yankees? I'm not too sure that's indicative of how we will fare in the playoffs. Of course the playoffs are a bit of a different animal, but in the end you have to score more runs than the other guys. If it’s 12-11 it’s just as good as 1-0. We field well, with plenty of good arms on the field. We hit well. We just have to pitch “well enough” at the right time...

The point is inger we are a section of the season where we are matched up against the types of teams we will face in the play offs. And just how bad our pitching is....

Khris Davis entered the game at .220 with 17 HR in a year of HR. He’s on a stretch of four straight seasons with a BA of .247. To match last year he has to go 59 for 238 (possible, that’s .297), but 31 of the hits would have to be HR...

It's just harder coming from behind in a short series because they will throw the farm at you every game. It's not the same.

Those drums are so annoying. Plus the horns, maracas, bells, triangles and all the other instruments that I’d like to shove up the respective performer’s arses... Or is that a one-man band?... When you attend the game in Oakland in person, the only annoyance noticed is that stupid horn.
