Plus the horns, maracas, bells, triangles and all the other instruments that I’d like to shove up the respective performer’s arses... Or is that a one-man band?... When you attend the game in Oakland in person, the only annoyance noticed is that stupid horn. They showed them yesterday theres at least a horn and drum being played by 1 person each so at least a 2 man band.

The point is inger we are a section of the season where we are matched up against the types of teams we will face in the play offs. And just how bad our pitching is.... We split with Cleveland, and this game is not over. So you’re writing the pitching off based on a 5.4 game stretch of baseball... I am commenting on six play off type games late in the season. We have another series against Oakland and one against the Dodgers so it is true that we will know more by Sept. Play offs are by definition short series. That is why they vary from the season. You don't get lots of games to make up problems.

I personally think noetsi's concerns are well founded. We have the worst stating rotation by far. But the playoffs may allow us to shorten the rotation. Bullpen better be ready to go early and often, though.

That's the nature of the game. It's just harder coming from behind in a short series because they will throw the farm at you every game. It's not the same. Regardless of the suspect pitching they do win most of these games. We do it the smart way. Wait til the bottom of the ninth and walk off so they can’t come back...

Bullpen better be ready to go early and often, though. There is very little chance Happ starts a playoff game this season, so to have concerns on the post season rotation based on results of regular season games started by Happ doesn't make a lot of sense.

Every one knows that. Do we have to hear about it over and over and over and over on every thread?

What are you doing Happ????? He's sucking like he always does. Giving up walks and homers. Not getting out of the 4th or 5th inning. You know, Happ stuff.
