I just assumed that Tim Lopes was related to Davey Lopes, but I can't find any evidence that he is.
Of course, I used to think Chris Singleton was the son of Ken -- the age difference worked, they had at least a superficial resemblance -- but they obviously aren't related.

Urshela is going to be very close for the minimum AB for batting average to count. He is 120 off with 28 games to go so he would hit it with basically 4.2AB per game. Cone was just saying if he got within 10 they would just add a few hitless ABS so he could qualify. Obviously this isn't even a conversation unless he would be first and he is 3rd right now behind Brantley .337 and DJ .332 with Urshela at .330. (Not counting the AB he had today so far).

After game #134, 3.1 plate appearances equated to 415.4. Urshela was at 412.
