Still, a very disappointing situation.
As Utah said, there can be more to the story, and his lady may be complicit to some degree for all we know. Still inexcusable to lose control of your emotions and become physically violent in almost any circumstance...

As far as German. I read today that there's no chance of him pitching again this year. SMFH. I guess I was hoping they'd take their 7 days to investigate and some how find out he wasn't in the wrong some how.

His feeling was that we’ll never really get the whole story. Perhaps that’s how it should be, as it has to do with his personal life. Unless German makes a public statement, and then we’ll still have to decide the level of veracity...As it is, we only have enough information to assume the worst. In the legal world. I assume assault is assault u less the charge is escalated with intent to kill or maim. That leaves a rather large band with of actions. A smack? A punch? Throw her against a wall? Threaten with a weapon? Both drunk, and she hit him with a tire iron first? We just don’t know... |
