Kay just explained how Showalter got the name Buck and now I can’t unsee it. I'm reading a book called "Chumps to Champs" by Bill Pennington about how Buck and Gene Michael rebuilt the Yanks in the early 90's and turned them into a dynasty. The book mentions how Buck got his nickname.   |

We probably don’t give Buck the love he deserves for his rebuilding work. Let’s face it though, he makes himself difficult to like, much less love... and lol at the photo I found of him as a young bleach blond player with huge black, bushy eyebrows. Sittin’ around buck naked like that...

I know the task is still tough because of the tie-breaker (Thanks 🐜!), but it will only be as hard for us to catch the Astros as they make it be. The Yanks just need to take care of business and let that situation sort of take care of itself. Getting down to the nitty-gritty... |

The Yanks just need to take care of business and let that situation sort of take care of itself. Getting down to the nitty-gritty... Yea it's technically 1.5 games because of the tiebreaker. As I get said though just keep winning and hope for the best. |
