Ellsbury in September has been exceptional and he's a threat on the bases, which is why I'd DH him. Sit Holliday for right handed power off the bench. Gardner, Cashman's Guy, and Judge comprise the Yankees' best defensive outfield. I like your out of the box thinking but you know Girardi will put Holliday out there at DH day in and day out regardless. He better show up in the playoffs after a disappointing year. |

Sale gave up four dingers to Toronto and hasn't been the same pitcher, which is his MO...fading at the end. Houston has been hot, winning eight of their last ten. If the Yanks win their last five games, we could be looking at a one game playoff for the AL East.

Yea it would be at Yankee Stadium. I think the yankees can sweep tampa, but its Pesky Toronto that always annoys us that would be the harder thing to do.
