Hilarious stuff, Kaybli. Tony still looks like he could roll out there and put up another .249/.276/.280 slash line. But not a bad style. The buttoned-up suit looks fashionable on him. That same tone pink shirt/pink tie combo went out with Regis Philbin and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in the late 90s. Hey! You’re completely forgetting about Sammy “The Pink” Sosa so soon? He brought back the pink a while back, man...

He's selling solar panels now I thought? They were treating him badly at his old job so he quit and went into business for himself. Much happier now. Of course you are correct. My bad Inger. I knew you were still in the business of selling energy-related products. I guess propane struck me as having more comic possibilities than solar panels. I need to write a cartoon series about a solar salesman to restore my identity, I guess. See, there’s this guy named Frank Till, and likes to talk about his solar panels all time...Cause he lives to sell ‘em...

BTW Kaybli, wait about 30 or 40 years and you will be telling disbelieving young ones about Tony Womack and insisting that CC Sabathia could blow it past any of these modern 2050 overpaid crybaby batters like Vladimir Guerrero III. This is sort of weird for me because just two days ago I looked Womack’s career up on Baseball Reference just to update the brain molecules because I was thinking his career wasn’t all bad. I intended to report back with some highlights, but other than one or two seasons he was never even average at the plate. His best base stealing seasons were not enough to overcome that, and his glove didn’t work well enough for him to impress in any of the “important” categories. The most horrific thing to me was that the Yankees fell for what was his best hitting season ever rather than look at the whole body of his work before deciding to go after him. Embarrassing. That’s what that was. His NY suckage was quite predictable...I didn’t check, but for Womack to have hit .300, he must have had a BABIP of .450. And grounders and pop ups must have found the outfield grass at near-record rates...

Adam Warren to the Padres for one year at 2.5 million. Nice deal for them. I was hoping the Yanks would bring him back for a third tour of duty, especially at a price like that. The guy is so steady, if unspectacular. Okay, I guess the Yankees bring him back next year then. I know it has to happen.
Hard to believe he is only seven months older than Dellin Betances.
Also looks like Salvador Perez could miss the whole season with a UCL issue. Big loss for the Royals. Six straight All Star selections and five Gold Gloves.

Getting ready to go for groceries, it going to snow. Ruthie doesn’t want to go, so I tell her to make up a list. She can’t find any paper, but her phone is on the end table beside her, so Insay...text me the list. So here we are in the same room and she’s texting me. NINE times...
No doubt she’ll still be remembering things while I’m in the store...
SMH...

Ahhhhh, young love. With those crazy kids the best. Congrats A-Rod and J-Lo. I would like to ruin the moment with a few dancing syringes:
They should have gotten married about 20 years ago when both were still in their prime.
