I wondered where that damned post went. I reposted it. Therefore I feel it to be fair that I pay the fine, but you rescind the points on my posting license… Sounds good to me. Just send me your credit card number. I have now decided to acquire the services of an attorney from the firm of Lyes and Dam Lyes. Dam is the other Lyes mother and she has informed me that since there was no context I can not be charged with the crime. Bauer’s is indeed a box of chocolates at all times, so I won’t mention what just happened here because that would be contextual information. She just texted me to tell me to shut up. Dam biddy… |

The College World Series game tonight may be a good one. Renfield's alma mater The Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. The Fighting Tigers of LSU. Wake Forest is the NCAA No. 1 National Seed and completed the regular season as the No. 1 team in all of the college baseball polls. The Deacons are hitting .308 as a team with 130 home runs and 43 steals in 45 attempts. The Wake Forest pitching staff has a 2.82 cumulative ERA with 748 strikeouts in 554.2 innings … the staff is allowing a .204 cumulative opponent batting average.
LSU has their work cut out for them.

The College World Series game tonight may be a good one. Renfield's alma mater The Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. The Fighting Tigers of LSU. Wake Forest is the NCAA No. 1 National Seed and completed the regular season as the No. 1 team in all of the college baseball polls. The Deacons are hitting .308 as a team with 130 home runs and 43 steals in 45 attempts. The Wake Forest pitching staff has a 2.82 cumulative ERA with 748 strikeouts in 554.2 innings … the staff is allowing a .204 cumulative opponent batting average. LSU has their work cut out for them. As you may have heard, Wake was last in the CWS in 1955 when they won it. One of the members of that squad was athletic director at Wake when I was there--some 22+ years later. When Wake's bats are on, they are very tough. But LSU has numerous potential 1st and 2d round players on the team. They were number 1 in the country for many weeks this year. Should be a good game. Go Deacs! |

Two wins without their offense doing what they usually do. They need to unleash the bats and put a beatdown on somebody. (But as I said, it is Wake so all true fans await the usually inevitable collapse).
