Hicks batting third I assume means Judge getting pitched around in a big spot. That doesn't happen if Torres is hitting third. Exactly! I wish Boone thought like us. If Boone thought like us he'd have plenty of time to post on heamyha! |

I think if they were stealing signs and the like generally they would have won game 1. Not necessarily... Maybe they did have the signs that day. Maybe they had them for a while, but the Yankees changed them. Maybe Tanaka’s execution was so good that the signs didn’t matter. Heck, half the time we know what you’re going to say, but even though we know, we can’t stop you... 😛 |

I don’t understand not being available for the NEXT series if you have a minor problem and cannot play, but not necessarily require the IL for THIS series. |

I think the reasoning behind it is to keep a team from, say, putting a game 5 or 6 starting pitcher on the IL to add a couple of fresh arms for the last two games, and then bringing those pitchers back for the next series. Maybe they could tweak it to just apply to pitchers? |
