Hope I can get a chance to watch it. Thanks for letting us know. That’s one time you can turn a ball game on and know you’re not going to see 4 and a half hour game with 37 pitching changes. Despite knowing the outcome, it’ll still be a thrilling contest!...

There’s a table I would have enjoyed sharing...I’m much more for eating at home on a quiet evening, but I’d go out for that...(Would be nice if one of got the check though)... 😂

Starting the 4th inning of the 1956 WS game. Larsen seems to have very deceptive stuff.
I think he might be able to pitch another perfect game!
Oh, no drive down the RF line and high! Whew, foul...

Looking at Campanella. Listed at a stocky 5’9” and 190. Very heavy looking through the thighs and rear end. Catcher was the ONLY choice for him, and he did it well.
The Dodgers with Campanella, Robinson, etc.. Yankees still a couple of years away from integrating...

Mickey drills one out to RF to open the scoring as the games first base runner...I hadn’t realized that Maglie had such a good start to the game...

I think Wells would be annoying after maybe 5 minutes, if not less.

I think Wells would be annoying after maybe 5 minutes, if not less. One of those deals where you have to put up with one of the guys in order to spend time with the other two. I’d pay that price. Actually, it would be a kick to pick up the tab. Imagine that! I was reading about a dinner shared by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Andre The Giant the other day. It’s said that no one ever could pick up the tab when they dined with the extremely generous Giant. Knowing that, Arnold rose from the table and quickly sprinted to the register. Roussimoff (Andre) simply walked to the register, picked Arnold up and carried him several feet away and went back to pay the tab...
