Farewell Didi! You had to replace a legend and totally held your own! Respect always!
Will never forget these clutch moments in the playoffs:

Good luck in Philly DiDi! And stay away from all those cheese steaks & Tastykakes!
DiDi will certainly be missed, on the field and in the clubhouse.

He's an easy guy to root for. I'm a little surprised he didn't end up with a two or three-year deal, even with the question marks around him. I hope he has a nice bounce-back season.

Could end up being a bargain for Philly like DJ was for us when we signed him.

A little surprised the Yankees didnt bring Didi back on the short term. Maybe they know something we dont.
I know we have an abundance of infielders but there must be a way to make it work especially given the fact they dont seem interested in using Andujar at 3B.

I've read that they think his lower body is slowing down and his lower half has bulked up, effecting his defense...

I've read that they think his lower body is slowing down and his lower half has bulked up, effecting his defense... He was pretty inconsistent overall last season not sure if the tjs was healed 100% I think he was healed, but I also think expectations should have been tempered while realizing that he didn’t get spring training. Since he had a major surgical procedure performed it might have been expected as well that he would tire near the end of the season. As much as Boone pays to days off and proper rest, he may have missed the boat on a Didi and played him a bit too much...
