Gregorius is a bright enough guy to understand he was not the priority this winter. Even when he returned from injury last season on June 7, the Yankees were in first place and nearly 20 games over .500....without Andujar, Stanton, Judge, Severino, and Betances. He’s also about to turn 30 years old with a career OPS+ of 99. I love the guy, but this is a stacked lineup with plenty of depth that is younger and cheaper at this point. And, he’s still a millionaire playing baseball, just in Philly. Living the dream!  |

Didi seems a little... bitter? at the Yankees... or shall I say Cashman Brian Cashman is an excellent General Manager, but like his illustrious predecessors Ed Barrow and George Weiss, he is not warm and fuzzy when it comes to the bottom line. He played hardball with Derek Jeter so it isn't hard to imagine him doing the same with Didi. According to anything I read, the Phillies were the only team to express an interest in Didi, and only for one year at that. So there are clearly doubts out there. |

A one year deal in good lineup and at a great place to hit, like Citizens Bank Ballpark, is a perfect setting for DiDi to reestablish his market value and hit free agency again in 2020. I hope he can pull it off.

If we lost Didi because the team was focused on getting the Cole deal done, so be it. Much more desirable than the other way around. Didi will probably top 30 HR for the first time in his career this coming season. That’s okay, too. There is now no position for him in NY... |

What other way is there than spicy wings? In Long Beach Island there's a place called The Chegg (chicken or the egg) and they have wings called ludicrous wings.. everyone around thinks they're the spiciest thing ever. I can handle them... but don't enjoy them. I like really spicy stuff but it has to have a flavor as well... these were just heat.. The wings that are a step below ludicrous , I forget what they're called , they're pretty good combo of spicy and flavor. I actually prefer rub over sauce on wings... Ribs, wings, pulled pork/pulled buffalo chicken, chili, tacos/burritos, and burgers... I could live off just those foods lol. Did I mention I'm hungry???? MMMMMM. Wings.... |
