Somewhere in the mid sixties with the Italian westerns is a dividing line for westerns. I’m finding that Westerns are not as popular fodder for movies since around the eighties, but some of the genre released in the past 30-40 years are very good. I saw those Italian Westerns to be a mix of great and poor, with little in between. I see that era more as a slump than a true dividing line for quality...To be fair, I’m sure Italian history movies made in Italy would be better than a movie about Italian history movies shot by American directors in America, so the disconnect is not a surprise...

The division is really in the mid seventies I think. Hollywood decided westerns did not appeal to young, urban individuals who they felt dominated markets. Sci fi like Star Wars some think took their place being largely Westerns in space.
Personally I think Hollywood was simply wrong in its assumptions.

Has anyone seen Dr. Sleep, the extension of The Shining? Wondering what your take on it is and if it’s worth watching.

I can see your Confusion...allow me to help.
To begin with, it is NOT SHIT but Piss.
Now mind you, most men do NOT think about getting Pissed ON; however there are exceptions:
"Lets say your Gal says to you in bed, "How would you feel if I piss on you? It has always been one of my fantasies.."
You the MALE have a Very Unique Opportunity here to agree and Call-In one of your fantasies:
"Well I guess it would be OK honey, if it means that much to you. But I would like to have you go down on your girlfriend Meagan while I Screw Her. Hell after you both could piss on me..."
"Sounds Fair doesn't it?"
It is can of like when you meet two gals (one is really cute; the other really ugly) = And the RULE/CODE States you must do the Ugly one before you get the Right to do really cute one.
Same thing with the Pissing...

Actor Brian Dennehy passed away. He is probably best remembered as the overbearing small town sheriff in the first Rambo movie, First Blood.

Very entertaining movie with lots a famous actors: Scott Glenn, Danny Glover, Kevin Kline, Jeff Goldblum, Kevin Costner and a wonderful performance by John Cleese. Gorky Park was another good Dennehy role.

He has a face that can go from kindly grandfather to killer with a few twitches...

I watched a movie a couple nights ago, but I forgot what it was called and what it was about. I also forgot who was in it. I think it was good and I recommend it. Watch it if you get the chance...
