Sideshow Clint has a new batting stance Hope he kept his "legendary bat speed" Looked like it on the bomb he his yesterday. Possibly the difference or benefit from this might be keeping him from lurching after offspead stuff down and away, a trap he fell into when he wasn’t going right last year

I read a bit yesterday about the stance. It’s something he’s been working on for awhile, getting the idea from Matt Holliday. He says he finally feels comfortable enough to take it into games. It’s a timing mechanism. He said often he feels like he cannot pull the trigger on a pitch. Maybe this will help with recognition and laying-off breaking pitches away.

I can say that at times he’s looked like he was simply locked up, so it’s a believable story. I’m hoping last year’s fielding yips are a thing of the past and we have a viable MLB player there. Starting brand new...

I read that Andujar looked sharp in left field, reading the ball off the bat and making the plays that came his way.

This is good to hear, hopefully Frazier is showing improvement in the outfield too. Let's face it, when Stanton comes back, he should see most of his time at DH, to better increase his chances of staying healthy, the Yanks need other options in LF.
