I'm not understanding, what would you do inger? Fill in the pitchers you want:
7/23 at WAS
7/25 at WAS
7/26 at WAS
7/27 at PHI
7/28 at PHI
7/29 vs PHI
7/30 vs PHI
7/31 vs BOS

Cole 7/23 Paxton 7/25 Montgomery 7/26 Happ 7/27 Cole 7/28 Paxton 7/29 Montgomery 7/30 Happ 7/31 King That won't work. You have Paxton pitching on short rest for 7/29 start after pitching on 7/25. Montgomery also pitching on short rest for 7/30 after pitching on 7/26. Then Happ pitching on short rest 7/31 after pitching on 7/27. Tanaka comes back 7/31 anyway. And you threw an extra King in there for some reason.
Look again at what the Yankees are doing. It makes a lot more sense:
7/23 at WAS Cole
7/25 at WAS Paxton
7/26 at WAS opener
7/27 at PHI Happ
7/28 at PHI Cole
7/29 vs PHI Montgomery
7/30 vs PHI Paxton
7/31 vs BOS Tanaka

The opener burns out your bullpen It Tanaka didn't get drilled in the head with a line drive comebacker, the Yanks wouldn't be using an opener. Hopefully it's just a one game thing. |
