The kid’s an MBL pitcher right now... Is that a new league? Lol, Apparently! But seriously folks, that is at minimum stuff like AJ Burnett used to drive us crazy with... Now that you brought it up, I think that’s in the future of the sport. A new league. As the players get richer and richer, and the owners get greedier... watch for a group of players to give that a go in 2022...If not, then when the NEXT contract ends... |

Things I expect to see if they play a 60 game schedule:
A .400 hitter. Maybe 2-3 of them.
Someone will hit 25+ HR
ERA leader under 1.00 (new MLB record).
.800 win pct. for the Dodgers. 48-12
.250 win pct. for Rangers... or Detroit... or Baltimore. Somebody will do it. 12-48.

Loved the way Schmidt and King go about facing hitters, they'll be nice additions to the club for years to come hopefully.

Frazier to play sometimes. He currently has plantar fasciitis, so I doubt he makes the team, unless their is an outbreak of Covid. |

Frazier to play sometimes. This will be interesting. Frazier is definitely behind Judge, Stanton, Hicks, Gardner, Andujar, and Tauchman. Without minor league baseball, where do you send Frazier to stay sharp? Am I correct that there will be no minor league baseball? Seems like I read that somewhere. Even with expanded rosters, I am not sure Frazier has a spot without injury/CV-19 pushing him up the ladder. Stanton is likely the DH most of the time, though Andujar, Voit, and Sanchez will undoubtably be penciled in routinely as well. |
