Of trivial unintended consequences, German is suspended. Without games being played, his suspension has no set ending now. It’s possible he could miss the entire season, depending upon when games resume. Yea , he has to miss 63 games even if we only play 63 games for the season. What if we only play 62....or none?

MLB Opening Day pushed to mid-May at earliest
this assumes things will be better when it gets hotter. But no one knows if that is true. People are getting sick in Australia where it is quite hot. The virus will likely get strong in the fall so it will be at best a short season.
On the bright side if its a week or less, Stanton might play a full year

Since players have guaranteed contracts, do they get paid whether the season is played or not? It would seem not, since there is no revenue, but I wonder if that subject was even thought of before this?...

Just send everyone home. No need to hang out together and have everyone catch it at once.

So far no one I know has tested positive, and no one I know knows anyone that has tested positive. Colorado does have either the fifth most or sixth most cases in the nation, though. I was surprised to learn that. We are 8th in land area, but there are only 8M living here, which is way down the population list.
Maybe corona is part of the Rocky Mountain High Experience? Hmm. Washington state is the most ravaged state in the country, and they also have legal pot. Is this connected to MJ usage in some way?...

It would seem not, since there is no revenue, but I wonder if that subject was even thought of before this?... It depends on the contract. Some contracts have "Acts of God" out clauses which might let the teams not play players given a national disaster. The NBA has this type of opt out clause for example.

I would be surprised if anyone you knew had tested at all given the lack of tests available. In all likelihood there are thousands of people who have it or had it already who never were tested.

The test they have only tells you if you still have it. Not if you had and it went away.
The scary thing to me is tests suggest it can last 3 hours in the air and days on certain surfaces. That is a long time outside the body. Copper surfaces kill it much quicker than steel which makes sense.
