As I don't want to stray into political discussion... Here's some MLB related news from MLB Trade Rumors At least two clubs’ MLB rosters seem to be staying as a full group: The Yankees players have unanimously voted to remain and keep training, per player rep Zack Britton (via George A. King III of the New York Post, on Twitter). GM Brian Cashman says he will remain as well, along with the coaching and training staff, Jack Curry of YES Network tweets. All of the Padres’ MLB roster is staying in the area for now, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports on Twitter. Others are largely dispersing … The Cardinals, meanwhile, have decided to close camp for the most part, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports (Twitter links). Ten to fifteen St. Louis players will remain on hand for the time being. It seems that’s more or less the approach of the Braves. MLB.com’s Mark Bowman tweets that multiple players have left the facility, some of whom hope to be able to train together in the Atlanta area. Most clubs are in more of a wait-and-see stance for the time being, with many players leaning towards remaining … The Nationals will meet as a team tomorrow, Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post reports on Twitter, with many planning to stick around. It’s a similar situation for the Giants, per Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic (via Twitter). Most Cubs players will remain in Arizona, at least until their leases run out at the end of the month, MLB.com’s Jordan Bastian tweets. The Tigers are mostly staying put, Chris McCosky of the Detroit News reports on Twitter. The Angels are still thinking through their options, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports on Twitter. It would seem to make sense for the team to stay together at this point. Should things worsen however it might be smarter for them to want to be with family and loved ones. We were shut down today and for the rest of this weekend’s home expo. I have to be concerned that I won’t be able to see people to sell my product, but I certainly understand that fear is gripping many and respect their space. In the meantime, I still am suffering symptoms of my own months-long malady, though they are lessening gradually. Maybe the forced rest will do me good...

Indeed, the last thing you need is an already overactive immune system encountering a new virus. Rest and condiments, lots of condiments.

Thats some scary stuff with your brother Kaybli being right in the center of it like that. Yea, he has to see some patients in full hazmat like suits. Still, a high chance of him contracting the virus. Hopefully, if he does he will be asymptomatic or it will be mild like it is in the vast majority of people.

Inevitable. Honestly I don’t see a way forward that doesn’t involve pretty much everyone in America gets this given how poorly the administration has fucked this up. You’re almost better off getting it now if you’re healthy and not in an at risk group.

There will almost certainly be no baseball for two more months at a minimum. "When MLB postponed Opening Day until at least April 9 on Thursday, common sense said that date was very much in flux. And based on a new recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it looks like baseball season won't start for quite a while. In response to COVID-19, the CDC recommended Sunday the postponement of all events consisting of 50+ people for the next eight weeks." www.yahoo.com/sports/cdc-recommendation-doesn-t-bode-004738645.html

A birdie told me that on Wednesday, the whole country will be on lock down for 2 weeks...
I do not trust this birdie, for what it's worth...
Tequila, I summon you to destroy this birdie of which I speak!!!

Tequila, I summon you to destroy this birdie of which I speak!!! Lock down: What does that even mean? If people have no food in their homes, they’ll have to go out to get food. If they need medications, will they not need to go to a pharmacy? I’m going into the garage right now to convert my truck to run on rubbing alcohol. Mad Max shall emerge!...

Unless this disease mutates it will not kill many people. It is doing an awesome job of disrupting the economy and almost no one has died in the US. Once people do start dying things will get messy I imagine.
Our federal government is a wreck which is not a good thing in a crisis.
