Detroit has been a dreadful scar on America as it has been a dreadful scar on the black race since the death of the city’s automobile industry. I wish we could snap our fingers and fix the issues in Detroit. I know that’s not going to happen. Did you know that the average home in Detroit sells for about 1/4 of what an average home does in the USA? Remember what the Real Estate folks say: Location!, Location!, Location! For me, give me a place with low civil unrest. I don’t care what skin color my neighbors have. I simply want us all to get along. This area has a high number of Hispanics and a relatively high rate of American Indians. The only infighting I’ve heard of is the few gangs we have here. I feel safe enough here with my wife. I wouldn’t not feel safe in any neighborhood with $1.00 homes. For people who do, may God bless and protect you. Enjoy your new neighborhood. Please help make it better...
