This may seem an offball question but does anyone know how the time between draft picks work? I know they are given 5 minutes per pick but when I time it, sometimes it's more. When I'm seconds off it's immaterial but there are times I'm more than a minute off. Do they give the next pick extra time for tv purposes and commercials? TV controls the draft, so even though the pick is already in, sometimes there is a delay until the talking heads are ready. Still, I thought the first round last night went pretty smooth. It was nice to watch some live sports television for a change. That makes sense. They have to CHOOSE within 5 minutes, not ANNOUNCE within 5 minutes... |

Have you been over there lately? I don't think there's a message board anymore. You’re correct. I can still log in, but I cannot find any posts or message boards. Over 7000 posts, lost in the ether... I received an email today from PinstripesPlus and Patrick has moved the site away from Scout/247Sports and is independent. Good for him. I received an email today from PinstripesPlus and Patrick has moved the site away from Scout/247Sports and is independent. Good for him. I have to think it’s a tough sell given the state of baseball... I wish him the best, but I think I’ll hold off charging in the door right away. This is a nice cozy place that we can all gather until, unless, etc. ...
