Stanton had a terrific game with the HR and opposite field single.
One of my favorite moments of the game was Wade scoring from first on Judge's double to LF. Outstanding base running by Wade and they stole a run from Mad Max.
Cole fell behind some hitters early but when he had to throw the fastball, the hitters still couldn't do anything with it.

Wade had solid defense as well. Plus he bunted on base.

Cole slaw ensures you have to throw a shutout to beat him. Old King Cole gets my vote and a smile. Have not had an ace like this since Ron Guidry!

I voted Stanton because that 460’ bomb got the season off to the right start. Besides, I wanted to get a vote in for him because you never know when he’s going on the shelf. I do sort of wish he would have played the season with his off-season eyebrows, though. They were a hoot...
