New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez extended his hitless streak to four games on Wednesday, with eight strikeouts over his first 12 at-bats.
Then, he hit 11 Home runs in his next 7 games, followed a 20 at bat hit less streak, followed by a 4 homer game, followed by another 20 at bat hitless streak, followed by a MLB record 5 home run game, followed by a MLB record 8-strike out game...After which it was revealed he’s been playing the entire season with a groin strain and went on the DL for the remainder of the season, scheduled to return just in time for the post season, but will only be able to DH. It’s Sanchez Ball, 2020... |
