New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez extended his hitless streak to four games on Wednesday, with eight strikeouts over his first 12 at-bats.

Off topic but do any of you smart folks know if the Yankees have a young catcher in their system that can take over if/when they part ways with Sanchez? They have the switch hitting Anthony Seigler, 2020 first rounder Austin Wells, and Josh Breaux but they are all a few years away.

Right now the line up would be Higashioka, 40- year old Kratz and Ryan LaVarnway. The only way they can realistically make a move is to trade for a C. They once could have gotten Realmuto... oops. Maybe they should have. But every time you think Sanchez is dead, he springs to life. Every time you think he’s alive, he dies again. He’s a head case...

I said it a few times before: WE should have traded Sanchez--he will never get better or change (see his history in reghards nto training and coaching, etc.).

Sanchez's offense has been disappointing but he has improved behind the plate. His defensive is much better than two years ago.

I was certainly in the sign Realmuto and trade Sanchez group. Realmuto is the superior defensive catcher and he’s a better overall hitter. Sanchez has more power than any other catcher in the game and a rocket for an arm.
