Means is a lefty, so maybe Andujar will get a start?

Means is a lefty, so maybe Andujar will get a start? Hopefully in LF. Gardner needs a day off or three.

Means is a lefty, so maybe Andujar will get a start? Means will face nine hitters batting right-handed tonight, including Andujar!

Hopefully in LF. Gardner needs a day off or three. The mirage of last season’s 28 homers brought him back. The clock is ticking for Brett. Gardner has always been the mechanical man at the plate. Fewer Spring at bats were no help to him. He has made the most of his talent, with the exception of becoming an elite base stealer. Gardy worked himself into a major league player and a longish career, but his only real natural baseball skill is speed. He’s not the kind of player who can roll out of bed and get three hits.

Sanchez and Gardner are a combined 0 - 23 with 15 strikeouts. Gardner does have one walk.

In Gary Sanchez’ last 731 at bats, his numbers are .208/.300/.464/.764
Overall, in 1405 at bats, his numbers are .244/.326/.513/.839
Dave Kingman’s career numbers: .236/.302/.478/.780 (6677 at bats)
Will the real Gary Sanchez please stand up.

Is Happ going to be Happ-less tonight??? If Happ can spot his fastball at the top of the strike zone, he can keep it close. If he can throw a breaking ball for a strike and has his change up working, he is still capable of shutting down a MLB line-up though six or seven innings. It will be interesting to see if Happ attacks like he did during the second half of last season, when he abandoned Rothschild’s game (sliders and more sliders) plan for his old repertoire.

Hope he looks like 2nd half Happ. I'd be happy w/ 5 strong innings
