I watched a fight and missed a whole bunch of runs. We spent the day in the mountains and got home in time to see from the bottom of the eighth on...I plan to see tomorrow’s game, and Monday’s as well. Thanks for providing links, Sierch. If continue to do so I will watch more games this year... |

Those links sierch provides are good. But they're filled with ads and other annoyances. And you can't rely on sierch to post them for every game.

My grandparents wanted us speaking English, which is a shame. But, that was what was done, then. And, they wanted to be able to speak without us listening in, too. My mother’s go-to was “tuque plummard” which she said meant “asshole full of shit”. But that was French. I have no clue... |

Sure I can. Until he doesn’t... I refuse to accept the gift. I’m pissed at the game and prefer they be punished for the treatment to the fans. This goes back to 1994 and 1981. Each time they behave like asses toward the fans I get a bit more disenfranchised. I also now have to add that the steroid era, and last seasons’s juicing of the baseball were disrespectful to our intelligence, so this has been brewing for 39 years... If they would have stopped at 1981, I had just about let that go when they did the 1994 disappearing act...Starting in 1995 I have never since followed the sport as ardently as in the past. I discontinued watching any game that did not include the Yankees. Prior to that, I would even watch Oriole games, even if just to hope they would lose. Numbers that I almost can’t stand in any walk of life: 73, 70. Any number in the 60’s over 61. You know why? Of course you do! Don’t mess with baseball! I wouldn’t care if the HR leader only hit 19 (full season)... I’ll be there tomorrow. 😎 |

I know sometimes what seems like lesser injuries take a long time to heal, but DJ seems like a throwback player that would just spit on a fracture and keep playing. I look (hope) for him back soon. I'm pretty sure they're going to put him on the IL. Usually a thumb sprain takes at least a week to recover from. Actually, for reference, in 2018 DJ sprained the same left thumb and missed 2 1/2 weeks. That would be quite a blow in this short season. |

Though the NYYankees subbredit stopped allowing pictures and thus my photoshops so I probably wont be posting there much. It was all to get some publicity to the forum. |
