Gardy with a double! Throwing a 98 mph fastball means nothing at the big league level. I wish Gardy would swing like that more often, use the whole field. right. I was so happy to see a couple balls taken to LF.

I know sometimes what seems like lesser injuries take a long time to heal, but DJ seems like a throwback player that would just spit on a fracture and keep playing. I look (hope) for him back soon.

I'm pretty sure they're going to put him on the IL. Usually a thumb sprain takes at least a week to recover from.
