The sky is full of smoke from all fires in Colorado today. The wind has shifted directions as we sit here at 88 degrees waiting for an icy cold front with 60 mph gusts expected tonight. Rain by morning as the temperature will continue to go downward throughout the day. Tomorrow evening through morning temps could drop below 30 as we get up to 4 inches of snow. It would have gone up to 98 degrees today, but the smoke blocked enough sun to stop it at 93. This is weird weather, even for Colorado. Within a couple days we’ll be up into the eighties. Welcome relief from the last six weeks hovering around 100.
* The weather has been sponsored by the anti-condiment league of Colorado with a small contribution from the gravel society...
