So with the proposed playoff schedule no games past the WC round will be at any AL stadiums unless the Rangers made the World Series.
The wild card round is the only round that could be at Yankee Stadium as the ALCS is at Petco Park and World Series at Globe Life Stadium.
Therefore the Yankees only need to get to the 4 seed to host a WC team. The record of the 4th seed right now is the Twins at 28-18. Yankees are 24-21 so its only 3 in the loss.
