No, it has to be 9 innings. Are you sure the rules were not changed to be a complete game this year? It would count as a complete game but a perfect game or no hitter has to be 9 innings. |

I just went to the last time he hit a HR and that's all that came up. He didn't hit any this year before today so didn't know the getting higgy thing existed. |
