I'm still in Hoboken, watching the dots like noetsi and inger. Annoying we didn't score there. Gardner has had a nice run for the Yankees, but in the off season the Yanks need to thank him for his service and let him move on. It's hard to watch him, Tauchman and Estrada in the same lineup. Yea lot of baserunners today but those 3 killed a lot of potential runs and gave away one too. |

Boone needs to go the way of Girardi... pulling pitchers way too soon.. leaving pitchers in when you know they're toast... giving off days to hot players to "save them" during a short season... DFA Boone!! I used to be such a fan of this guy... I don't know if he's got some personal crap going on in his life.. but there's something not working in that brain..
It hasn't really backfired, but why pull Monty??? I get the pens fresh after yesterday but pitch counts n shit bother me to begin w/... and when a pitcher isn't even bordering 100 pitches.. and doing great.. LEAVE HIM BE!! You're playing the %'s that the next pitcher will be just as good??? Roll w/ the good thing son!!
And he brought in FORD as a pitch hitter??!?!!!?
If Ford is getting pinch hit AB's.. chances are you shouldn't have started the player you're substituting..
SHORT SEASON... DON'T REST ANYBODY!!! DON'T PLAY FOR TOMORROW!! (even in the long season, I'm not a fan of playing for tomorrow... we play today, we win today... not we play tomorrow, so rest today)

If Estrada could catch a pop up, this game would be over already, instead he have Holder pitching in the 10th.
I guess Holder is above Ottavino in the pecking order.
