Feels like we cheated winning this way I know I'm fine with maybe starting the runner on second if the extra innings has gone on a while like the 12th inning, but not right away seems cheap. |

Thankfully there is no closeup visual of this. You would think that wouldn't happen often because baseball has to have the closest locker rooms of all the sports. The football basketball and hockey ones always seem to be miles away. |

I was sure when LeMahieu got to third with no outs, that Baltimore would walk Voit, and pitch carefully to even load the bases and try to cut off the run at home. Pitching to Voit was a Boone-like move.

Yeah, I'd feel better if they only implemented the rule after the 12th... still wouldn't be loving it though. It doesn't even "add excitement" in my opinion... Feels cheap all the way around. We win, I feel we cheated... We lose, I feel we got cheated... |

Good win. But the bottom of this line-up is just brutal--especially with Tauchman slumping. You didn't have to add slumping. It isn't a slump... it's just who he is... |

You never know what would happen under various scenarios, but the Baltimore manager did not give his team the best chance to win by going after Voit. That is my principal complaint with Boone. He all too often does not give his team the best chance to win a game. |
