How many should he have, Russ? 50 Pretty good answer, Russ. Assuming he was healthy and that the rest of us were, too. Then he’s be nearing the end of a full season of baseball...

When are our stars ever healthy? In fifty games your closer should not I think have just 3 saves. Not unless you are Boston.

If earning 20 million or more he has been hurt most of the year.
Its an easy rubric to figure out how many games a player missed.

It’s an “easy rubric” to just change the subject when you’re caught with you britches around your knees when grandpa opens the barn door, too...

I don't think I changed the topic. First I said that Chapman earns fortunes for a few saves. Then I agreed that like all Yankee players that earned fortunes he is always hurt.

The only player the Yankees paid more than 10 million to this season was Cole.

What is fair about assuming anyone at any price would accumulate any statistic when they are injured and cannot play? If you had a guaranteed contract at work and we’re home from work with an illness or injury, would you be expected to continue to continue to churn out the same number of reports as your replacements or contract-workers? (Thinking about this one, I feel it likely that you are one of those workaholics that has not ever utilized a single sick day or vacation day. You could probably take something like eight years off without losing a day’s pay). 😎. Here, have a 🍪...

The only player the Yankees paid more than 10 million to this season was Cole. I was talking about the non-prorated amounts

Sometimes you get one with a great record of being healthy, and that’s when the bad luck starts...
