With Chapman, you knew that was coming.

Figured you'd defend the rule... and we also ALL know it's to prevent long games... we know WHY... it's just stupid and gimmicky.. and it better not continue after 2020 Do you not like it in football Its to prevent 20 inning games you blow you staff out on. Which never appealed to me. No.. I do not like it in football.. Baseball and football are very different sports regardless

Baseball and football are very different sports regardless the logic is exactly the same. Avoid long drawn out games. If you don't like it its fine. I am speaking just of the logic behind it.

With Chapman, you knew that was coming. That was a passed ball. Gary was looking at the baserunners.

two outs. The steal was silly. A hit wins. The trailing runner does not matter

That was a passed ball. Gary was looking at the baserunners. The runners were going, so it was a stolen base. It was the reason he missed the ball and there was no throw.

two outs. The steal was silly. A hit wins. The trailing runner does not matter There was one out at the time. The steal was not silly. And, then there is no force out at second.
