He's going to get to 9 for sure which makes it possible he files a grievance that they sat him for 11 days from August 5 to 16 and 13 from August 16 to 29 in which he would obviously have made 1 start to make 10. Yes, and he’s been pitching well ever since then, so there is a solid chance to make that case successfully. |

So I can't see anyway he gets 10. |

Wow, Judge swung at a pitch that was waaaaaaaaaay inside. He’s not there yet. It may take another few games. He’s still getting counts to 3-2 regularly, though.

The real reason he was skipped was due to Covid delays allowing the Yanks to pitch Cole as much as possible. Then when you consider how poorly Happ was pitching, I don't like his chances with a grievance. Despite all of this, with the way he's pitching now, the Yanks might want him back, it's only for one more season. |

So I can't see anyway he gets 10. Credit to Happ for bearing down and making this a successful season. I thought Montgomery would pitch much better than he has. But, he’s a serviceable fifth starter, which I expected to say about Happ, but he’s been better than that. Granted, it’s an abbreviated season. |
