I have to say, Ortiz was the greatest Yankee Killer of all time. I was so happy to see that guy retire. And, the Red Sox got him as essentially a cast off from the Twinkies.

Since August 5th, Happ has had one bad start in which he gave up four earned runs. In fact, Happ has not given up more than four earned runs in any appearance the entire season.

And, they just may do that if he continues to pitch well and throughout the playoffs. Then again, Matsui was let go following his World Series MVP Award.

I'm not sure if the team can pick it up if he falls sort or if he becomes a free agent. legacy.baseballprospectus.com/compensation/cots/al-east/new-york-yankees/

It's a tough call because Tanaka and DJ are free agents too. I'd imagine the Yanks want both of them back. Gardner's a free agent too.

94 mph fastball up and in to strikeout Odell Beckham, Jr. to end the inning!

I’d imagine Gardy will take a reduced, one-year contract to finish with the Yankees. DJ and Tanaka are must signs to me.

Another big question: Who's the Yankee game 3 starter in the first round of the playoffs, if needed? Happ or Garcia?
