And I wouldn't be surprised if it leads to injuries...

And I wouldn't be surprised if it leads to injuries... I think it also leads to inconsistency.

I wonder if any of the other contenders manage their club like the Yankees? Contenders... non-contenders... I doubt anyone manages like the Yanks when it comes to predetermined rest days... What if Muhammad Ali had rested during his fights, and had a scrub take over for a few rounds every time... Arnold Palmer could have had an amateur play hole 15-18 when he had a big lead? Lou Gehrig of Cal Ripken hired a stuntman to handle Saturday? I don’t like all this subbing...

Kinda makes you think they should leave baseball decisions to people that played the game, not nerds who come up w/ bullshit like pitch counts and rest days...

Can't wait to see who sits tomorrow.
Whatever, I'll just be happy to have our full lineup in the playoffs. No injuries tomorrow!

Found this comment on twitter ,:
Yankees in 2017: We have the home run leader MVP candidate
MVP voters in 2017: We dont like homers, we like batting average now.
Yankees in 2020: We have the batting leader now.
MVP voters: Nevermind we like homeruns again.
Yankees: Well we also have the homerun leader.
MVP voters: Abreu for MVP.

Corporate America is full of people that went to college yet have no practical knowledge about the businesses they’re running. Being the best is no longer the high water mark. Every one wants to be the most profitable, even if it’s just for this year and it kills the business in the long run...
