These guys were certainly highlights of our season. Other positives:
Urshela continues to play top shelf defense while hitting well.
Good outfield play despite Hicks being a bit off. Maybe next year he’ll be fully well. Frazier looked much better out there, and Frazier himself was a bit of a pleasant surprise.
Back up catcher was well-manned.
Another fine season for Zack Britton out of the pen.

Congrats to D.J. and Voit. These two carried the offense for most of the season. Voit looks like he's playing on one good foot, other players players need to step up and help him out. (Judge & Stanton)

Looking over the Indians it’s obvious that if you can hit that strong pitching staff they have little offensive firepower other than Jose Ramirez and his puckered face. Their catchers were Sanchez-like in BA without the slugging. I’m surprised to say that we have an advantage at the position. Carlos Santana drew bases on balls. Throw him strikes, he hit .187. The only positional disadvantage we have is at SS. Franmil Reyes was okay at DH, but took a step backwards. The short season reveals slumps so much more than a long season does... The Yankees “should” win, but it’s so easy to slip up for one series... |

DJ not only was the AL Batting Average leader, he was the OBP and OPS leader as well! MVP! MVP! MVP!
