OK, we have two days until game 1. Here's a thread all pre-series chatter.

Francona won't be managing the Indians against the Yanks. Alomar certainly has some history against the Yanks in the playoffs.

I think it's safe to say that Higgy will be starting game 1 with Cole.

Here's the game time schedules. As expected, Yankees/Indians get the prime time slot.

One good thing about Cleveland their offense is not very good. They have a team .226 average and only 57 home runs. That's good for last in hr in the AL and 13/15 in average. So this isn't a team of power hitters therefore that should be good for the Yankee pitchers who give up home runs a lot.
Anyway let's go back to Bieber's last start versus the Yankees.

Yea you're right. The offense minus Jose Ramirez isn't very good. How was Bieber's last start versus the Yankees?

That's what worried me about the White Sox, they hit a lot of HR's and Yankee pitchers give them up. If Cole can dominate this Indian lineup, the Yanks have a good chance of taking game one.

Yea and I think Playoff Tanaka can outduel Carrasco.

Here's Bieber's stats against the Yankees:
Not much history. Gardner took him deep once. I hope that doesn't tempt Boone to play him over Frazier.

Bieber won the MLB's pitcher's triple crown, so he's a different pitcher this year. He need Cole to at least match him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Just be thankful the lineup is fully healthy! My prediction: Yanks in 2.

I am not sure. Judge is not hitting that well. We have few home runs recently
