Also, if they use Garcia out of the pen tonight, they're forcing a 20 year old kid into a role he's not used to in the most important game of the season. Not very smart. I agree, which is why starting Garcia in game two after the win was a good spot for him. He gives up one run to the hottest hitter on the planet, and he’s removed - also not smart. Now, they are desperate just to even the series. |

Gardner strikes out 3 times last night and gets move up in the lineup. And, our hottest hitter may not bat in the first inning. |

If we were to use him tonight, it would mean we had the lead... I assume... which is stupid... because then who starts tomorrow...
Or would we use him when we were losing? But then if we came back... who starts tomorrow???

At least no Sanchez??? Think he'll be the catcher in 2021? **if there's a 2021...** I really like Higgy and his 2019 Minor League season looked pretty good. Hit 20 HRs in only 241 ABs!!!!!! Hit .278. He's got some pop. Also hit 21 HRs in 2016 in only 370 ABs. Plus his catching is much better than Sanchez. He's starting for Montgomery because his ERA is like 6 something with Sanchez catching and only 3 something with Higgy. |

Ugh, a side-arming reliever is starting this game for the Rays as an opener. That's what an opener is supposed to be, an actually reliever, not a starter who is replaced with another starter.
