Abreu has a filthy curveball. This guy has talent. Nothing more important than fastball command, though. Too bad. If he figures it out, it’ll be with another team.
Gets the save, but it wasn’t pretty. So much potential.

I just don’t think Cole likes throwing to Sanchez. Even if it’s just psychological, if he’s better with a personal catcher, give it to him once the real games start. Does anyone like throwing to Sanchez? Opposing pitchers don't usually mind.

Sanchez hit a bodacious bomb! What a clout! Just saw the HR on the replay of the game on MLB Network. Wow, if Sanchez could just develop some consistency.

I like Nick Nelson, hopefully he has a big year at Scranton and someday ends up in the Yankee rotation.

I like Nick Nelson, hopefully he has a big year at Scranton and someday ends up in the Yankee rotation. Cone was actually commenting yesterday on the possibility that Nelson could be a starter. Monty takes the mound today. I’d love for him to take a step toward being a number two or three starter. 1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Gleyber Torres (R) SS 4. Luke Voit (R) 1B 5. Clint Frazier (R) LF 6. Mike Ford (L) DH 7. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B 8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C 9. Mike Tauchman (L) CF Stanton still hasn’t played in a game yet.

Stanton won't play in his first spring training game until at least Wednesday against Toronto, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

If not, they probably don’t want the press printing that he’s hurt again. Probably minor, just avoiding the headlines and headaches.

Don’t want to use up his 15 game expectation? Practicing his IL skills?

Is anyone able to watch the game?
I guess Monty started a bit rough, then has settled down. If the information is correct he struck out the last two batters of the first on three pitches, then only threw three pitches for three outs in the second inning.
