I'm so relieved about Judge that I don't care that Green gave up a 3 run HR to Cabrera. It is a relief. This is a different lineup with Judge. |

Chad Green throwing sinkers for some reason instead of his four seamer. Doesn’t make sense. His curve and a sinker both finish low in the strike zone. Never changed the batter’s eye level. Now’s the time to experiment... |

Boone said Judge under the weather. So he was under protocols and observations. But he was cleared to play Thursday. His bat has been pretty darn quiet this spring. Just that one real long tater that got every body all worked up last week... Almost all of them have been quiet except Stanton and maybe Torres and, oddly, Gardner. Even LaMachina's bat is quiet. Well, it's just Spring Training, but I thought they would hit better than this. Hicks and Sanchez hit exactly like they did in the regular season--which is to say, terrible. I still fail to see the obsession with Hicks. He's just not that good. |
