Hicks with a sharp single, but hitting through the shift isn’t a long term strategy. Mark Teixiera can attest to that.

I don’t get the theory that Aaron Hicks is going to have a “big year” offensively (and hitting third). Hicks is 31 years old and has had over 90 hits in a season once (119). I've never understood the fascination with Hicks. Decent fielder, mediocre or worse bat. A good 4th OF with a little power. Made of glass. |

Great arm, can play all three positions, switch hitter, good eye. Just seems to get exposed or injured over the course of a baseball season. |
