We’re out celebrating our 10th year of wedded bliss anniversary. ... Congrats!!!  I don’t know. I’ve had about enough. I should have done like an 8 year agreement and then gone with options.😂br] She’s flying out this coming week to visit with her sister for a month due to her hubby passing away. I know she’d like us to move out there. It’s not a bad area, but I’d have to feel like there was a benefit to me to do it. Can’t think of one. Might be tempted. It would be great for Ruthie because there’s several of her family members besides her sister. A brother, nephews, nieces, etc.. Seems half the country is moving to Idaho, which is right across the border from there. (Newman Lake, WA. )... |

The Yankees win today leaves them with a 4-5 record, in a four way tie for second place, 2 games behind the 6-3 Red Sox. It’s not ideal, but it feels a lot better than sitting at 3-6 and in the lonely, dirty, unfinished basement.
For some reason I felt we needed this game a lot more than we probably really did...

Since there was a 95-minute wait we left and went to Cracker Barrel. Ho hum... it was the 4th or 5th time we dined out this week. Too much for me... |

Not among the best I've had, but excellent nonetheless! The star of the show was the simple Spicy Rigatoni. Probably one of the best pastas I've ever had. The Assorted Baked Clams were also wonderful. We also had meatballs, veal marsala, angel hair pasta, funghi trifolati, and topped it with some carrot cake! |

No one cares what I ate?
The Sunday boneless breaded fried chicken with corn, steak fries, buttermilk biscuits and fried apples. There were two breast filets, but I could only eat one. Brandy quickly snapped up the second one when I came home.
Ruthie had the chicken fried steak and a whole bunch of accoutrements. Brandy got none of that.
I swear my belly was so stuffed, and I only ate of of the 4 biscuits they gave me... there simply seems to be little room at the end anymore for food... guess I’ve shrunk...

Very thick coating on the chicken... 182 pounds this morning, another nadir that I haven’t seen since my mid twenties or thirties. Actually not quite sure when I was that weight before. It was almost like I skipped the 170’s-190’s and woke up at 200 pounds one morning... |

One thing to love about early season games. Urshela came into this game hitting .240 without hardly a lick of pop. He left it having hit a bomb of 453 and upped his BA to .323.
Hicks is a bit further down than that. He needs two big games, back to back...

Plus, I love peanuts and Sarah loved their bread. I might be the only person from the south who’s never been to a Cracker Barrel. Happy Anniversary, Inger! |
