Do any of you older heads remember a pitcher named Carl Morton? No relation to Charlie AFAIK. He was Rookie of the Year with the Expos, later pitched for the Braves. He died at a very young age. Yep. I thought you might. From the era of Steve Renko and Bill Stoneman on the Expos' staff. Claude Raymond coming out of the bullpen. |

One of those deaths of irony. Died after jogging at only 39. Don’t know of any reason to suspect his heart up until then... Good pitcher that won 18 and. ROY in his first year... |
