I have stupid Extra Innings where I only get the home announcers. On the plus side, I cancelled it before last season but they've never stopped giving it to me, so I won't be firing off a nasty letter. My brother had the same thing with NHL Center Ice. He canceled it four years ago and has been getting it free ever since. Doesn't seem like a good business model. Years ago I had this cable service called WOW Cable and the NHL Center Ice shared the channel lineup with the Extra Innings Package. Every year I bought Extra Innings and got the Center Ice package with it for free. They never shut off the channels after the baseball season ended. Yep. I'm still getting hockey as well. They're on the same channel grouping for me. When hockey season is over it will clear up more channels and occasionally they offer both home and away broadcasts, but the Yankees are rarely in that offering. |

For sure. Joey hit 50 one year. Nice job remembering his name at LSU! Coach Skip Bertman kicked him off the team before the college playoffs. Bertman had rules, and they applied to everyone. My buddy from LSU (the English professor who gave me Confederacy of Dunces) hated all athletics, but he said every player from Skip’s teams attended class on time, removed their caps as soon as the entered the classroom, and asked for their assignments before leaving on a road trip. He didn’t have good things to say about Dale Brown or any of the football coaches. |
