But wait, with some magic from the Internet Archive I pulled up an old archive of the forum!:
I clicked on there -- I could get the different threads, but when I tried to go into them to read them it said they tgey weren't available. I did get to see the names that started each thread -- some I didn't remember like stumblebum, a lot from Memphis Yankee, some from our old pal utahyank. I'll give it another shot later. Thanks for dredging it up. |

So Bruce and Tauchman were in a competition for a spot on the roster. Voit gets hurt so both made it, but Bruce was a flop and is gone and tauchman is traded away anyway.
