Really. The play was right in front of him. Orioles broadcasters pointed out that was the fourteenth baserunning out for the Yankees this year. Michael Kay said that ties last year’s total (60 games).  And it's a lot of different players. How can an entire team lose focus like that? |

Somewhere during the matriculation within professional baseball, there is apparently an assumption that these players made it this far, they must know and understand the fundamentals of the game. But, it’s evident, they don’t. |

Funny how much better pitching is with Higgy It's been a pretty dramatic difference so far. That foul pop Higgy caught on the slide could never have been made by Sanchez. |
