Neither have I, but I've heard they don't have much of a taste. What the hell is wrong with you people? Next you'll say you don't like livermush. Holy... what? I have never tried it, understand. But no. I don’t like it... Livermush. I can’t imagine too many ways that might taste, but the ones I can are just not good..,

How do you even season crabs?? I never got that... does it like seep through the shell? There maybe a little bit of seepage, but it’s ( “Old Bay” ) primarily sprinkled on the shell generously enough that it gets all over your fingers as you open the shells. You handle the crab as you eat it and your fingers get on your lips and tongue enough to add a generous amount of seasoning to the crab. I love crab meat, but picking crabs is a pain, and buy decent sized ones to make picking rewarding is expensive. I never bought a single bushel of crabs, and only ate them on rare occasion at picnics, etc, or at Red Lobster. Snow Crabs are an expensive and therefore rate treat for me. I’m looking for a chance to try some Dungeness crab, which I’m told are much meatier. Here in Colorado? I think likely not gonna happen... How can a bottom feeder be do white, flaky, and tasty? .. . Growing up in Florida, my grandfather would take me out during blue crab season when their shells were soft. Batter those babies up, stick them in the fryer and when done, eat the whole crab. As the great American Homer Simpson once said, "drool, drool". My favorite crab though is stone crab. Lots of meat on those bad boys.

Crabs in any configuration work for me. I do love those softshells especially. My grandfather had a place on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and as kids we went crabbing there a lot. They were so bountiful that catching them was about as difficult as picking strawberries.
Man, now I want crabcakes for dinner tonight and I just finished breakfast.

King is like a yo-yo now. Why would they use King in a low leverage situation and then lose him for another 10 days?

I can’t imagine too many ways that might taste, but the ones I can are just not good.., Fried, on white bread with mayo and mustard and an egg. Mush and egg sandwich is the best. Key is to get a decent crust while it's still a bit soft in the middle. If you're ever there (unlikely, I know), Windy City Grill (also known as Homer's) in Hickory, NC makes great mush and egg sandwiches. I get one every time I'm there--which is not often these days.

Livermush is much more prevalent in Western NC than down East, where I now live. Grew up at the foot of the mountains.
