If Kosensky can’t figure Jones out, how are we supposed to? It’s no easier figuring out the parent club right now. Maybe it’s time we let go of him… I'm not against trading Jones, but it should be for player that can help them next season too. He should absolutely be packaged for Crochet, Skubal or Miller A) We dont need him - Soto, Judge, Dominguez should be the future OF B) He's overhyped because of his physical stature / LH Judge comp C) He's quickly losing Value in AA - At least Move him to AAA to juice his stats and try to regain the hype

It felt it to be an over reach and far from accurate…

My fellow Yankee fans, Crochet is a good pitcher, but please read Crochet's comments about being traded. Also, Jones is only an extra OFer if the Yankees re-sign Soto. But even then he can play 1B or allow Judge to DH.

Get Vivas Up here to replace DJL I wonder if Jorbit is trade bait now that the Yankees traded for Jazz?
DJ, Torres, Jazz, Grisham, Cabrara all on the same roster doesn't make any sense.

Patience, grasshopper. The trade deadline has not yet passed. The master and orchestrator is still at work, still plotting beyond our puny imaginations…

It's looking like the Yankees are giving up on DJ returning to form ... he's playing well below replacement level and you have to plan on him not being an option in the future ...contract or not They looked like they were on the right track developing high OBP contact hitters that we've been begging for for years It would be a shame for the Yankees to trade away all of their contact hitting prospects for high K rate guys like Grisham and Chisholm (lol! That sounds funny)

Tough to trade a player this late in his walk year, and a 36 YO who's owed $30M over the next 2 years.

Is that Scranton line on Effross a misprint? I thought he had been pitching reasonably well.

Maybe there's some borderline wildcard teams that might trade for them.

Is that Scranton line on Effross a misprint? I thought he had been pitching reasonably well. He’s been ineffective, largely due to lack of command. Since he’s more of a feel pitcher, since he lacks velocity. It may take him a while to get that feel and touch back, along with command…
