The old minor league thread is buried so far back that I thought it was a good idea to just start a new one. For the first time since 2019, there will be minor league games next week! Yeah, the prospects need to play to develop. Here's the start of the season rosters for the Yanks 4 top teams:

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Assignment TBDContrary to a previous report, Dominguez will not be opening the year at High-A Hudson Valley, Robert M. Pimpsner of Pinstriped Pros reports. There were reports swirling Thursday that Dominguez would open at High-A as an 18-year-old, which would have been a very aggressive assignment, even for someone with Dominguez's tools and pedigree. Comparisons to Bo Jackson, Mantle and Trout? No pressure, kid. I'm not sure if he has the baseball talent of any those three, but if he does, his maturity would make him more like Trout. If Mantle had been mature at 18, no telling what he would have done. |

If Mantle had been mature at 18, no telling what he would have done. I never saw Bo as a baseball player. More of a remarkable athlete that played baseball. He wasn’t a great hitter for average nor to get on base. He was amazing though.. |
